Inauguration of Logistics Platform - EMIRATES SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES

TANGER MED and EMIRATES SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES celebrate together the inauguration of a new Logistics Platform.
 
EMIRATES SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES, a subsidiary of the SHARAF group, is a leader in logistics solutions and deals with the distribution and logistics of more than 18 multinationals in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
 
The new EMIRATES SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES logistics hub covers a covered area of 10,000 m² and where TMSA has invested more than 80 MDH for the realization of this work.
 
This grouping and distribution logistics hub supplies the 22 ADIDAS stores in Morocco and delivers the entire North Africa zone from Tangier Med.
 
The number of items delivered from this warehouse will be 5 million pieces in 2018 and there are stored more than 30,000 product references from more than 20 countries.
 
The EMIRATES LOGISTICS group will employ in Morocco in 2018 more than 370 people directly and indirectly with the prospect of recruiting more than 1,500 people in the 2024 horizon.
 
EMIRATES SUPPLY CHAIN has chosen, the Logistics Free Zone of Port Tanger Med MEDHUB, for the creation of its Logistic Center in Africa, thanks to the geostrategic position of Tangier Med, its connectivity with 174 ports in the world, the administrative facilitation and short port transit times.
 
This choice in Tangier Med was made after intense competition between various ports in the Mediterranean and confirms the competitiveness of the MEDHUB logistics offer.
