UAE and Egypt... Strategic partnership, firmed principles, and a comprehensive development renaissance

H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat
‎Minister of International Cooperation - Arab Republic of Egypt

The Egyptian government implemented an ambitious program of economic and structural reform between 2016 and 2019, which contributed to achieving macroeconomic stability, unleashing potential and opening prospects for private sector participation and attracting private foreign investments within the framework of 4 main strategic axes—Egypt as a regional energy center, the Suez Canal economic zone and industrial localization, Digital Transformation and New Cities - Green Recovery; Environment and climate change. Stemming from its role in consolidating economic diplomacy, the Ministry of International Cooperation is consolidating relations with multilateral and bilateral development partners in a way that supports the implementation of development projects and enhances the partnership between the government and private sectors.
