The UAE has long enjoyed powerful ties of friendship and bilateral collaboration with Indonesia, and this relationship has enhanced investment opportunities between the two countries and helped diversify the energy mix. 

Masdar’s solar projects in Indonesia mark our entry into the Southeast Asia market, where we see tremendous potential for renewables. We look forward to further supporting Indonesia’s sustainable economic development through more strategic investments in this vital sector, increasing the exchange of knowledge between our countries. 

I am confident our collaborations to date are just the start of a long-term partnership with Indonesia, which is rich in natural resources and has enormous human potential.
