UAE and France... Half a century of cooperation and partnership
The UAE and France have always shared distinguished trade relations, and over the past years, these bilateral ties have witnessed a major leap. The strategic annual dialogue between the two countries, that ensures to strengthen the bilateral relations aimed at achieving their shared goals, started in 2007.
We at the UAE’s Federal export credit company, have inked last year a strategic partnership with France’s export credit agency Bpifrance Assurance Export to strengthen further the robust trade and economic cooperation between the UAE and France.
The UAE is France's second largest trade partner in the region with non-oil foreign trade at US$7,520 million in 2019, data from UAE Ministry of Economy shows. There are more than 600 French companies present in the UAE in different sectors.
