H.E. Mohamed Ali Al Ansari is the Chairman of Al Ansari Exchange, the UAE-based foreign exchange and worldwide money transfer company.

H.E. Mohamed Ali Al Ansari is a well-recognized business personality in the United Arab Emirates.

After finishing his graduation, he went on to pursue higher education in the United States and returned in 1980 to take over the family business.

Under his able leadership and guidance, the company has grown over the last 4 decades from a 2-branch operation with 20 staff in 1980 to its current state of more than 220 branches with over 3500 employees with multicultural and multiple languages serving more than 3.5 million customers every month and over 120,000 transactions daily.

He is a true believer in the important role women play in the economy and the workplace.

Women working at Al Ansari Exchange today exceed 30% of the total workforce, with some having leading roles.

H.E. Mohamed A. Al Ansari is a true philanthropist and personally leads all Al Ansari Exchange’s sustainability initiatives that focus on three main pillars, education, health, and disaster relief.

In 2022, he directed the contributions made to the “One Billion Meals” Initiative, The Reach Campaign to help end Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), The “Faraj Fund” and the Pakistan’s Flood Relief Efforts as part of his dedication to charitable and humanitarian work.

His leadership has led the company to be the proud recipient of several awards, certifications and recognitions including the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Customer Excellence Award, Dubai Quality Awards, Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award QAC, and ISO 9001:2000. He was a member of the National Anti-Money Laundering Committee from 2002-2013 where he took an active part in spreading awareness and education on the significance of collectively managing money laundering and flagging the matter as a highly important corporate social responsibility topic.

Besides Al Ansari Exchange, he also heads Al Ansari Financial Services and Al Ansari Real Estate.

In addition to that, H.E. Al Ansari is the founding chairman of FERG since 2008. FERG is a non-profit organization that consists of companies engaged in the business of money exchange and remittances joining a common platform and working towards mutual benefits.
