H.E. Abdulla Jassem Kalban is a dynamic business personality with growing acclaim and stature of the corporate world.

H.E. Abdulla Jassem Kalban have more than 37 years’ experience in the aluminium industry.

In 1985, He started career as a Graduate Trainee at Dubai Aluminium PJSC (DUBAL).

And progressed through the ranks to President and Chief Executive officer at DUBAL (2005-2014). Then in 2014, was appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Global Aluminium PJSC (EGA) till 2019.

EGA is a UAE based aluminium conglomerate that ranks among the world’s top five aluminium producers by volume.

H.E. Abdulla Jassem Kalban is Chairman of Gulf Aluminium Council; Vice Chairman of The Etihad Water and Electricity (EWE); Vice Chairman of Dubal Holding;

H.E. Abdulla also serve as a Board member of Dubai International Financial Centre Investments (DIFCI) and Dubai International Financial Centre Authority (DIFCA); Board Member of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU); Board Member of Dubai Supreme Council of Energy; Chairman of OSE Industries LTD and Chairman of Sohar TITANIUM FZC LLC (OMAN).

H.E. Abdulla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of New Haven, Connecticut, USA.
