H.E. Al Asri Saeed Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Rabat - Kingdom of Morocco
His Excellency grew up in the city of Al Ain, received his education from the UAE University Degree in Business Management, and is fluent in both languages (English) and (French) besides his mother tongue (Arabic).
As for his career, the veteran diplomat carried extensive experience of more than four decades, during which he served as his country's ambassador to many important countries around the world.
2020: Ambassador of United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Morocco for the 2nd time.
2017: Appointed Assistant to National Security Adviser for International Relations Affairs.
2011: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Morocco.
2006 – 2010: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
2000 – 2006: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of United Arab Emirates to the United States of America and Non-resident Ambassador to the United Mexican States.
1999: Transferred to the Main Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi - UAE.
1993 – 1999: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
1993: Minister Plenipotentiary with Ambassador-designate within the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the UN in Geneva.
1992: Counselor within the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the UN in Geneva.
1989: First Secretary within the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the UN in Geneva.
1987 – 1993: Affiliated to the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations in Geneva as Chargé d'Affaires.
1981: Promoted to the rank of Third Secretary.
1978: Joined the Diplomatic & Consular Corps as Diplomatic Attaché.
